What a busy start to 2013! Firstly we had a release from Flevans. This kicked off the year in style with great support from Simon Raymonde and Amazing Beats. Flevans is due to appear on the Amazing Beats show with Mark Ryan soon. Amazing Radio have been supporting Bird also. An interview with Beth Elfyn was first up before single premier for Ophelia. Ophelia is due out on February 14th and has received early support from Simon Raymonde, Ruth Barnes, Shell Zenner, Tom Robinson and Dave Monks. The live sessions are due on the Simon Raymonde show on February 11th. The UK tour kicks of soon at these venues and you can buy tickets here .Bird have also been invited in to be guests on The Verb on BBC Radio 3. We will keep you updated with that. The end of the year saw more praise from Emily Brinnand at The Guardian naming both Bird and The Tea Street Band in her “New Band Up North” feature. Bird will also be in NME so keep your eyes peeled! Look out for the new issue of Bido Lito which also features the 3 piece.

As the year continued to gather pace at JTP HQ The Tea Street Band were picking up plays for John Kennedy at XFM, Janice Long at BBC Radio 2 and yet more coverage on football focus. We then were featured on Channel 4 with The Sunday Brunch Team! Tim Lovejoy bopping to the sounds of Disco Lights whilst the nation rubbed it’s eyes and drank orange juice. Only the snow was to get in the way of progress resulting in the Tooting Tram & Social Gig for Remedy XFM being arranged for 17th of May. More news of tour support with Inspiral Carpets followed. Look out London, Birmingham, Sheffield and Nottingham! Tickets here! TSB weren’t finished here gigs announced in Brooklyn, NYC , Bray near Dublin and Liverpool Sound City. The lads have finished recording 2 singles with Push The Feeling On ready for late February. This features a stunning remix from Tom Eno. The Tea Street Band will also play at a Bestival memorial for the victims of the coach crash on March 30th at Nation in Liverpool.

Tom Eno also has a new single coming out on February 25th called Jungle Camp. This track has picked up a play from Steve Lamacq on 6 Music and featured in the feature film Autana. There is more to come from Tom including a new single with Mountain Folk and plenty more remixes. Ring Ring Rouge have been busy and have now finished 2 new singles. They are in the process of booking live shows. Dr Feelgood will be released in March with an album close to completion.

We welcome Aydio and Boogie Trouble to the label from Tooting and Iceland! Aydio is close to finishing his first single with us called Borneo Function. Boogie Trouble have recorded Gin og Greip, both will be with us before the spring.
