Tom Eno’s second album Jackknife is released on 13/2/12 and features Mr James Bright (Tape Club) on vocals. It also features Will Benger on drums and Teej Osbourne on bass. Much of this album was recorded live in A Combination Of Studios in London with Mike Page as producer. The album is has much more of an acoustic feel than the debut album Barnstormer. It’s had fantastic radio support from the BBC.
Tom Eno is a British musician and recording artist. Hailing from Winchester, Toms distinctive playing style blends classical Spanish and jazz guitar, drawing inspiration from jazz masters Charlie Byrd and Django Reinhardt as well as classical guitarists and composers such as Segovia and Villa-Lobos. His sound has been turning heads with hefty praise from heavyweight DJs & tastemakers alike including BBC Radio 1s Rob Da Bank, Steve Lamacq, Don Letts, Andrew Collins & Josie Long, BBC Introducing and Hotel Costes, who featured the track Tijuana on one of their compilations.
Tom has been involved in many projects in the last few years, including an album with singer and producer Mr James Bright, collaborations with German label Jazz & Milk, Upskiboo, Tombee,
Diego & The Dissidents, Renegades of Jazz, Mr Confuse, Lost Idol, Bird, TSCCC, Benjamin One and Argentinean producer Ezequiel Lodeiro. His newest project Mountain Folk with Danish producer René Kirkegaard has already attracted good attention with spot plays on Danish National Radio. A recent career highlight was his production work with Tickler Tea & Magic Fuzz’s track The Shakedown which received radio play from BBC 6 Music Steve Lamacq, was a top 5 Xposure tune on John Kennedy s XFM show and featured in the top 100 singles of 2010 in Drowned in Sound.
He tested some of his new material last summer at Ejector Seat festival and Glastonbury. 2011 saw plenty of radio play on BBC Radio 1, 2 and 6music from:

2012 started with a writing/recording session in Wales with the other halfof ‘Mountain Folk’ Rene Kirkegaard Tom’s other side project. Expect a 12″single with some very exciting remixes with CD Album release later this year.
Tom is currently working on a remix album will be out in 2012.
